He says that he still has quite a few copies of each issue of the OOPS Newsletter, which were given to him to send to new members but were not all used. He needs the space in his house, so these back issues are going into the recycled paper unless someone claims them first. For those not in the know, the newsletter was published in 36 issues over the space of about 12 years (perhaps longer - I don't know when the first one came out). Each issue was A4 in size and 16 - 30 pages in length. The last three issues (1998/9) were published on the Web only - see http://www.oopsnl.ukc.ac.uk/ - but the result was that they were not as widely read as earlier ones, and newsletter publication ceased. We're working on a scheme to revive the newsletter in a different form. Please send your requests to David directly, no later than 13th December 2002. You can find his contact e-mail address at http://bcs-oops.org.uk/ under "TWiki discussion forum" (hint: click on "Users"). In the event that your claim is successful (first come, first served), you will be expected to arrange shipment - e.g. by sending David a sufficiently large self-addressed envelope. Details to be sorted out via e-mail. Best regards, Immo.
